An ongoing investigation follows an incident in San Antonio where a police officer shot a man during a disturbance call involving a knife-wielding individual.

The shooting occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Friday at the Fredd Townhomes located off Dartbrook Drive near Wurzbach Road and Interstate 10 on the Northwest Side of San Antonio. According to the police report, a woman inside one of the townhomes contacted 911, reporting that Christopher Dahl, aged 19, was being violent and threatening her life.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement, officers encountered Dahl on the stairwell, where he was reportedly armed with a shotgun. Allegedly, Dahl aimed the weapon at the officers, prompting them to open fire, striking him multiple times.
