John Deramus II, 18, was apprehended after being caught peeping on women showering at the Fishers YMCA on 126th Street. This incident, however, is not isolated.

Deramus’s actions extend beyond the Fishers YMCA. He has been implicated in numerous incidents at various Indianapolis area YMCAs, totaling at least 38 occurrences.
Surveillance Footage
Surveillance footage aided in identifying Deramus as the perpetrator at both the Fishers YMCA and the Irsay Family YMCA on South Alabama Street, where he was found hiding in a shower stall.
Admission of Guilt
Despite initially claiming innocence, Deramus eventually admitted to recording a woman showering at the Fishers YMCA on Feb. 27. Police discovered incriminating videos on his phone.
Legal Ramifications
Deramus faces serious charges, including voyeurism in both Marion and Hamilton Counties, as well as criminal trespass.
