COLUMBUS, Ohio – Delaware County is providing aid to families affected by a recent tornado, offering assistance at the Galena Village Hall on March 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Assistance Agencies and Services
Various organizations, including the American Red Cross, Delaware County Veterans Services, and the United Way of Delaware County, will be available to help residents assess their housing and clean-up needs. Other community nonprofits will also be present to offer support.

State of Emergency and Damage Assessment
The Delaware County Commissioners declared a state of emergency following the tornado. The National Weather Service confirmed it as an EF1 tornado, causing damage to at least 254 homes and businesses, with 25 of them sustaining major damage.
