A disturbing incident unfolded in Harris County, Texas, as a 12-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a stabbing that left a woman critically injured. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed that the boy is facing an aggravated assault charge, though his identity has been withheld due to his age.

The incident occurred in the 17200 block of April Valley Court on a Saturday afternoon. Authorities responded to find a woman in her 50s with a stab wound. She was promptly transported to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
