Showers will begin to develop Friday evening, with heavy rain and storms possible overnight. Most of the rain is expected to exit the area by daybreak Saturday, leaving behind partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Easter Weekend Outlook
Easter Sunday brings the chance of scattered showers and storms, with the south suburbs having the best chance for any stronger storms. Highs on Easter will be cooler, ranging from the upper 40s to mid 50s.
Monday’s Forecast
The weather doesn’t let up on Monday, which happens to be the Cubs home opener. Heavy rain and storms are possible, extending into Tuesday before the region finally dries out later in the week.
