- Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabúi Waterfalls: Start your day at Seljalandsfoss, a beautiful waterfall where you can walk behind the cascading water for a unique perspective. Nearby, don’t miss Gljúfrabúi waterfall hidden in a canyon, perfect for magical shots.
- Skógafoss: Proceed to Skógafoss, another impressive waterfall known for its sheer power and the rainbows that often form in its mist. Climb the stairs for an aerial view or capture its beauty from the base.
- Black Sand Beach (Reynisfjara): End your day at Reynisfjara, a stunning black sand beach with basalt columns and towering cliffs. Be cautious of sneaker waves but capture the dramatic scenery and the Reynisdrangar sea stacks.
Day 3: Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach
- Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon: Begin your day early at Jökulsárlón, a breathtaking glacier lagoon dotted with icebergs. Spend time photographing the sparkling ice formations and keep an eye out for seals.
- Diamond Beach: Adjacent to Jökulsárlón is Diamond Beach, where icebergs from the lagoon wash up on the black sand shore, resembling glistening diamonds. Capture the contrast between the ice and the volcanic sand.
