Authorities have disclosed the identities of those involved in the tragic shooting incident that occurred in Spring Valley on Tuesday morning.

Upon receiving a report of a potential break-in at a residence situated in the 800 block of La Presa Avenue around 10:20 a.m., deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department promptly arrived at the scene. Despite no response at the front door, law enforcement officers proceeded to the backyard where they discovered an individual lying unresponsive on a couch.
