LONG BEACH, Calif. – In a disturbing incident, three young boys were apprehended in Long Beach after allegedly assaulting a homeless man on Saturday evening.

The altercation unfolded at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, prompting a response from Long Beach police officers to the 100 block of Pacific Avenue.
Police reported that the trio, consisting of a 15-year-old, a 14-year-old, and a 12-year-old, engaged in a dispute with a homeless individual. The situation quickly escalated as the boys purportedly began attacking the man with tent poles and a tripod, while also hurling objects at him, causing physical harm.
