EL PASO, Texas — Following a rain delay in April, the sixth annual Unidos Games commenced at Burges High School, offering a platform for differently-abled students from the El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) to showcase their athletic talents.

Veronica Reyes, executive director of specialized learning services at EPISD, highlighted the increasing popularity of the Unidos Games. Since its inception in March 2018, participation has surged, with over 700 students from 44 campuses taking part in this year’s event.
