San Diego, California – The San Diego Police Department launched an investigation after a man and a woman sustained gunshot wounds in the Stockton neighborhood on Friday night.

Responding to reports of gunfire, officers arrived at the 3100 block of L Street at approximately 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right lower leg. Immediate first aid was administered to the victim before the authorities proceeded with their inquiry.
Shortly thereafter, a 35-year-old woman, who had sustained a gunshot wound to her abdomen, was located in the vicinity. Both victims were promptly transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. Fortunately, authorities have stated that both individuals are expected to recover from their injuries.
