Father Takes Drastic Action After Daughter’s Assault

Robert Orr, a resident of Thurston County, has taken decisive action after his 14-year-old daughter, Jaymee, was brutally attacked at Bush Middle School in Tumwater. Orr withdrew his daughter from the school following the incident, citing concerns for her safety.

The assault, which occurred on April 29th, was captured in a 30-second video that circulated on social media platforms. In the footage, Jaymee is seen being followed and taunted by another student before being physically assaulted. The assailant repeatedly pulled Jaymee’s hair and struck her head and neck.

Following the attack, Jaymee was taken to the emergency room, where medical professionals diagnosed her with symptoms of a mild concussion. Orr reported that his daughter continues to experience difficulties bending her neck and is suffering from severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of the incident.

Expressing grave concerns for Jaymee’s well-being, Orr stated that he does not feel safe sending her back to Bush Middle School, especially with only weeks remaining in the school year. In response to the assault, Orr has taken several steps to seek justice for his daughter. He has filed a police report, engaged with the Tumwater School District, and welcomed a School Resource Officer to interview Jaymee at their home. Orr emphasized that no individual, regardless of age, deserves to endure such violence.
