In a remarkable display of solidarity and determination, the Colorado Mama Tribe is gearing up to participate in the 2024 Denver Colfax Marathon Relay on May 19. This event serves as a platform for the group to raise funds and awareness for their cause. Mariah Gillaspie explains, The relay is where we have moms at different legs, so the first mom will run six miles, the second mom will run four miles, all the way until we complete the full marathon.

Despite the challenges they face, the members of the Colorado Mama Tribe exemplify resilience and strength. Gillaspie proudly states, Our moms are so strong in so many ways, and I think running Colfax is just another proof of how strong we are. With 25 moms from the group participating, divided into six teams, their presence in the marathon symbolizes unity and solidarity.
