Las Vegas, Nev. – A shooting near the UNLV campus Saturday night has left authorities searching for a suspect. The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. at the University Gateway Building parking structure, located in the 4700 block of S. Maryland Parkway, adjacent to the UNLV campus.

Police reported that the victim of the shooting was promptly transported to a local hospital and has since been discharged. Notably, the victim was found to have no affiliation with the university, according to law enforcement statements.
