A man was shot while burglarizing a church in Union Square on Sunday morning, according to Baltimore Police.

Just before 8 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of S. Mount St. for a report of a shooting, police said. When officers arrived, they located a 59-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
