Despite earlier subpoenas, McBride expressed dissatisfaction with the Department’s response, prompting the call for Attorney General intervention.

Allegations of Irregular Employment Status

McBride raised concerns about Langston’s employment status, questioning whether he is a bona fide employee or a ghost employee merely on the payroll without fulfilling job duties. Although the Department asserts Langston’s part-time designation, his reported workload of approximately 180 hours per month surpasses that of many full-time employees.
