Arlington, Texas – Arlington police shot and killed a man during a domestic incident at F.J. Red Kane Park on Sunday night. The incident occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. on S Cooper Street.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance call involving 42-year-old Shannon Boyd from Irving. Upon arrival, officers witnessed Boyd shooting at his girlfriend. In response, three officers discharged their firearms, fatally injuring Boyd. The girlfriend sustained multiple gunshot wounds and remains in critical condition but is conscious.
