LAS VEGAS, Nev. – A 33-year-old man is in critical condition following a collision in the central valley of Las Vegas on Monday night.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the incident occurred at approximately 9:10 p.m. when the man, riding a 2003 Honda CBR600, was traveling on West Charleston Boulevard toward an intersection with Westwind Road. At the same time, a 2017 Ram 2500 was proceeding through the intersection.
The motorcyclist allegedly failed to stop for a red traffic signal and entered the intersection, colliding with the left-front side of the Ram. The impact caused the Honda to overturn, ejecting the rider.
Emergency medical services arrived at the scene and found the rider with life-threatening injuries. They transported him to UMC Trauma Center for urgent medical care.

LVMPD stated that the driver of the Ram remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. The authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine any contributing factors.
