Blaise Taylor, the man accused of poisoning his pregnant girlfriend Jade Benning and her unborn child, has bonded out of jail in Nashville, Tennessee, according to confirmation from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
Bond Set at $2.5 Million
Earlier this month, Taylor had his bond set at $2,500,000. The 27-year-old was arrested in Utah on two counts of first-degree murder following the poisoning death of Benning and her 5-month-old fetus.
Alleged Poisoning Incident
Taylor is accused of poisoning Benning without her knowledge while visiting her apartment on Lebanon Pike the night of February 25. Benning was rushed to the hospital after Taylor called 911, reporting what seemed to be an allergic reaction.
Tragic Outcome
Despite medical efforts, Benning’s condition worsened, and her unborn fetus, named Ivy by the family, died on February 27. Benning herself passed away on March 6, 2023, which would have been her 25th birthday.
