In a recent early morning patrol, Baltimore police arrested a 23-year-old man found in possession of a stolen handgun, authorities reported.

Around 3:18 a.m., officers were on foot patrol in the Unit of Light Street when Citywatch cameras alerted them to a potential armed individual nearby. Police promptly received a description of the suspect and located a man matching the description on the unit block of West Lombard Street.

Recovery of Stolen Handgun

Upon investigation, officers apprehended the 23-year-old suspect and seized a Taurus 9 mm handgun. It was later determined that the firearm had been reported stolen from Atlanta, GA.

The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where charges were filed.
