A 22-year-old Aurora man, Lu Reh, has been arrested this week in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred in 2022 near East 16th Avenue and Alton Street, resulting in the death of 44-year-old Ricardo Ryans.

The incident unfolded on May 30, 2022, when Aurora Police Department officers responded to a call reporting a man lying in an alley between the 1600 block of Willow and Xanthia streets. The victim, identified as Ricardo Ryans, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
