A 15-year-old male from Brownsburg has been apprehended following a fatal shooting incident in Hendricks County, Indiana, occurring on Tuesday afternoon.
Juvenile Arrested After Search Warrant
In response to the tragic event, the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on McClain Drive early Wednesday morning. The 15-year-old suspect was subsequently located and taken into custody.
The identity of the arrested individual has not been disclosed by the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office. However, the juvenile is currently detained in a juvenile facility, facing preliminary charges of murder and dangerous possession of a firearm.
Details of the Incident
Reports indicate that deputies were dispatched to the 10300 block of Memorial Knoll Drive, situated in the Eagle Crossing neighborhood near Brownsburg, after receiving a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a four-door passenger vehicle crashed into the rear of a residence.
The driver of the vehicle, preliminarily identified as a 21-year-old man from Indianapolis, was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
