According to LCPD reports, officers responded to a call regarding shots fired at an apartment located in the 1900 block of West Picacho Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that shots had been fired into the apartment by Nieto, who then allegedly entered the premises and threatened the woman inside while making demands. Afterward, he fled the scene in a black SUV.

The victim sustained minor injuries to her arm, believed to be caused by shotgun pellets or broken glass, and received medical attention at the scene without requiring hospitalization. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported from the incident.
