Virginia Beach, VA – A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Hampshire Lane in May.
On May 19, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department responded to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital following reports of a male adult with a gunshot wound. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, indicated to detectives that the shooting took place around midnight in the 5700 block of Hampshire Lane.
Suspect Identified and Charges Filed
After conducting a thorough investigation into the incident, law enforcement officials secured felony warrants for 58-year-old Mario Feather. Feather faces charges including aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharge of a firearm in a public space.
Apprehension of the Suspect
Mario Feather was successfully apprehended by authorities on June 10, following the issuance of warrants.
