Lucas Macaj, a graduate of Arlington Martin High School, was found on Mills Glacier near Longs Peak. The National Park Service confirmed that Macaj had experienced a significant fall during his climb.
According to the National Park Service, Macaj’s last communication was a text to a friend on May 12, indicating that he had reached the summit of Longs Peak. However, subsequent efforts to reach him were unsuccessful.
