Gaylord pursued higher education at the University of Virginia, Sullivan Business College, and the University of Louisville Speed School, culminating in an engineering degree. Meanwhile, Benita’s educational path from Whitesburg High School to Sullivan Business College equipped her for a role as a purchasing agent at the Jefferson County Board of Education.
