COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Nearly five years after a father of three was gunned down in east Columbus, his family still waits for the killer to be caught.I am just praying that God sends us an answer, that’s what I am praying, said Coreca Hall, the grandmother of Jayelin Wilson, who was shot and killed in May 2019.It’s sad, it’s heartbreaking. It’s my only son, said Tahisha Wilson, Jayelin’s mother.Columbus police say the 23-year-old’s body was discovered by a fence on Gault Street. Investigators believe Wilson was shot and killed during a gun battle.I just miss him, said Jamika Hollie, Wilson’s cousin. We want justice.
