WEST ALLIS, Wis. – A crash resulted in significant traffic delays on I-41/I-894 northbound, just south of the Zoo Interchange on Saturday morning, June 8.

According to reports from 511, the ramp to I-94 was closed at Greenfield Ave shortly after 6 a.m. DOT cameras captured extensive backups stretching all the way to Lincoln Ave.

By just before 8 a.m., authorities had blocked the on-ramp from Lincoln Ave, exacerbating the congestion.

FOX6 News contacted the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office for further details but has not received a response yet. However, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner was summoned to the scene.
Return to Normalcy
At approximately 9:15 a.m., the crash scene was cleared, and traffic flow gradually returned to normal levels.
