Dallas homicide detectives are seeking assistance from the community to apprehend the individuals responsible for the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Coriesha Bradford and the injury of eight others during a gathering in South Dallas.

Tragic Incident Unfolds in South Dallas

The shooting occurred on April 14th in the 4500 block of Collins Avenue. The area was bustling with activity as people from East Dallas congregated for a celebration. Suddenly, gunfire erupted, resulting in the tragic death of Coriesha Bradford, affectionately known as RiRi, and injuries to eight others.

Dallas Detective’s Plea for Cooperation

Detective Eric Barnes emphasized the importance of community cooperation in solving the case. He urged residents of East Dallas to step forward with any information they may have regarding the incident. 28-year-old Christopher Jones was arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with deadly conduct and possession of methamphetamine.
