Dallas police are actively searching for two suspects following a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a woman in the parking lot of a strip mall located in east Oak Cliff.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, in the 4400 block of S Marsalis Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Shaketta Johnson inside her vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save her, Johnson succumbed to her injuries.
Suspect Description
According to police reports, the perpetrators, yet to be identified, approached Johnson’s vehicle and opened fire, striking her multiple times. The suspects then fled the scene in two separate vehicles. One of the vehicles is described as a blue Mazda sedan with a paper license plate, while the other is identified as a black Mercedes.
