Police authorities have declared at least five apartment units as uninhabitable due to the extensive damage caused by the fire. Displaced individuals have been directed to seek shelter at Beulah Baptist Church, located at 5001 Spruce, and Christy Recreation Center, situated at 728 South 55th Street. With 26 individuals seeking refuge overnight, the shelter at West Philly High School’s gymnasium continues to offer essential services, including casework assistance, meals, shower facilities, and sleeping arrangements.
