Radnor Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania – A shooting incident on Interstate 476 led to a two-vehicle crash, with the driver of one vehicle now facing serious charges. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the incident that occurred around 12:31 p.m. near mile marker 12 in Radnor Township.
Alleged Shooting and Crash
According to authorities, the driver of a blue Honda Civic, identified as 62-year-old Christopher Foley, allegedly fired multiple shots into another vehicle containing a 41-year-old father and his 8-year-old son. The gunfire resulted in both vehicles colliding on the highway.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
Following the incident, Foley was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. He now faces a series of charges including two counts of attempted homicide, three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of recklessly endangering another person, a firearms-related charge, and a charge of tampering with evidence.
At his preliminary arraignment, bail was set at $1,000,000. Foley is currently held at the Delaware County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing.
Victims’ Condition and Further Investigation
Fortunately, the father and son in the targeted vehicle were not injured during the ordeal. However, authorities are continuing their investigation to ascertain the motives behind the shooting.
