This marks the fourth instance of the award, previously bestowed upon legendary figures such as Willie Mays, Vin Scully, and Joe Torre.

Baker’s illustrious career spans 56 years, encompassing roles as a player, coach, and manager. The 74-year-old retired from active duty following the 2023 season, culminating a remarkable journey in the sport he loves. Starting his career as a teenager with the Atlanta Braves in 1968, Baker enjoyed a stellar playing career spanning 19 seasons.
