SAN ANTONIO – As Easter approaches, the City of San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up to revive a beloved holiday tradition. Beginning at 11 p.m. on Thursday, the city will lift curfew restrictions, allowing families to partake in camping activities at various local parks. This longstanding custom has been cherished by families for generations.

From Thursday night until 11 p.m. on Easter Sunday, residents can secure their camping spots at several designated parks across the city. Among the parks open for camping are Brackenridge Park, McAllister, MLK Park, OP Schnabel, Woodlawn Lake Park, Southside Lions Park, Roosevelt Park, and San Pedro Springs.
