North Las Vegas authorities are actively searching for Inez Evadney Wilson, a 74-year-old woman last seen in the northeast valley area.
Last Known Contact and Circumstances
Inez Evadney Wilson was last in touch with her family on Friday, May 31, around 8 a.m. According to reports, she conversed with a family member over the phone from her residence in the 3600 block of Emmons Avenue, situated near north Pecos Road and Lake Mead Boulevard. She had plans to pick up her aunt from the airport at 11 a.m. on the same day but failed to arrive as scheduled. Concerned, her aunt proceeded to Wilson’s residence but received no response upon knocking. Neighbors also confirmed not seeing Wilson throughout the day.
Police Response and Description
Upon receiving reports of her disappearance, the North Las Vegas Police Department conducted a welfare check at Wilson’s home. However, she was not found at the residence.
Wilson is described as a black woman with brown eyes and grey/brown hair, standing at 5’8” and weighing approximately 185 pounds. Authorities have noted that she exhibits early signs of dementia, which may lead to confusion. Additionally, she is recognized by the nickname Cherry and possesses a slight Jamaican accent.
Seeking Public Assistance
North Las Vegas authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Wilson’s whereabouts to promptly contact the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111.
