According to authorities, the incident occurred on May 25 around 3:42 p.m. in the 900 block of North Dukeland Street. Police were alerted to the scene by a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arriving at the location, officers found a 17-year-old boy with a fatal gunshot wound. Further investigation revealed a 15-year-old boy also suffering from a gunshot wound.
