Former Froedtert West Bend Hospital employee, Steven Weis, charged with multiple felonies including possession of child pornography and stalking, reached a plea deal with prosecutors in West Bend, Wisconsin.

Steven Weis, aged 46, faced allegations of using a hidden camera to record his coworkers in the hospital’s bathroom. According to court records, he pleaded no contest to 31 counts, with the remaining charges being dismissed. Weis is set to be sentenced in August.
Case Details
Charges were initially filed against Weis in July 2023. Prosecutors revealed that he had stalked three of his neighbors, two of whom were children. One victim reported that Weis masturbated in front of them from his apartment window and complained to their mother about Weis taking pictures. Subsequent investigations led to the discovery of over 10,000 photos of the victims on Weis’s computer.
Modus Operandi
Weis admitted to using a hidden camera in the hospital’s bathroom. He confessed to a routine of installing the camera beneath the sink every morning and retrieving it at the end of the day. Investigators uncovered videos showing 99 hospital employees using the bathroom, unaware of being recorded.
Additional Revelations
During questioning, Weis confessed to recording individuals without permission from 2015 to 2019. He admitted to saving videos featuring attractive women and engaging in inappropriate behavior. Law enforcement discovered DVDs, computer backups, and hair strands in Weis’s residence, along with folders containing hidden camera recordings.
