SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – A South San Francisco man faces criminal charges following an altercation during a Gaza ceasefire protest that turned violent on Wednesday. Identified as Kent Keenan, the 57-year-old resident was captured on camera in a profanity-laced rant, allegedly assaulting and spitting on demonstrators.

The incident unfolded at approximately 6 p.m. when Keenan approached a group associated with Change South San Francisco during their weekly rally on El Camino Real and Chestnut Avenue. Prior to this encounter, Keenan had reportedly attended the group’s previous demonstration, where he shouted insults.
