Gilbert, AZ — In a recent development, the Gilbert police have apprehended two more individuals in connection with a violent group attack that took place on a teenager back in August. The arrested individuals are identified as 19-year-old Deleon Haynes and a 17-year-old teenager. Both have been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.
A total of six teenagers have now been arrested in connection with this case, as revealed by the police.
Previous Arrests in the August Parking Lot Attack
Prior to these recent arrests, authorities had already implicated 18-year-old Christopher Fantastic, Aris Arredondo (18), and two 16-year-olds in the August parking lot attack in Gilbert. Christopher Fantastic is currently held on a $25,000 secured bond, as indicated by jail records. Aris Arredondo appeared before a judge and is also being held on a $25,000 secured bond. The two 16-year-olds will be dealt with in the Maricopa County Juvenile Court.
Legal Proceedings and Indictments
Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced on January 19 that Christopher Fantastic had been indicted for aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. Subsequently, on January 22, another indictment was announced, this time against Aris Arredondo for the same charges.
