H-E-B, the renowned Texas-based grocery chain, is set to open its newest store in Fort Worth next month, marking its continued expansion into North Texas.
Store Opening Details
The grand opening of the H-E-B Alliance store is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, at 3451 Heritage Trace Parkway in northern Fort Worth. Doors will open to the public at 6 a.m., making it the fifth H-E-B location in the DFW region.
Job Opportunities and Community Impact
Earlier this year, H-E-B hosted a job fair aiming to recruit 500 employees for the new store, highlighting its commitment to providing employment opportunities within the community.
Prosper Store Groundbreaking and Future Plans
Additionally, H-E-B announced plans to break ground on its upcoming Prosper store on Tuesday, April 2, located at the southeast corner of Frontier Parkway and Dallas North Tollway. This expansion aligns with the company’s vision for further growth in North Texas, with stores in Melissa, Rockwall, and Mansfield also slated for openings in the coming years.
Joe V’s Smart Shop Expansion
In addition to its traditional stores, H-E-B is also diversifying its offerings with the introduction of Joe V’s Smart Shop, a low-price grocery store concept. Construction is underway for two Joe V’s Smart Shop locations in Dallas, with openings scheduled for late summer 2024 and spring 2025 on Wheatland Road and Buckner Boulevard, respectively.
