SAN FRANCISCO – California Senators Alex Padilla and Laphonza Butler have introduced a bill to rename a historic post office in San Francisco after the late Senator Dianne Feinstein, commemorating her significant contributions to the city and the nation.

The proposed renaming will designate the Rincon Finance Center post office, situated at 180 Steuart Street off the Embarcadero, as the Dianne Feinstein Post Office. As mayor of San Francisco during the 1980s, Feinstein played a crucial part in overseeing the development of the Rincon Center, which includes the post office annex.
