In less than a month, Ivan Cantu, a death row inmate, is slated for execution in Texas. Cantu’s case, however, is fraught with controversy and questions regarding his guilt. Scheduled for February 28th, his execution hangs in the balance as his legal team fights to unearth evidence they believe could exonerate him.

Cantu, now 50 years old, was convicted in 2001 for the murders of his cousin, James Mosqueda, and Mosqueda’s fiancée, Amy Kitchen. Despite maintaining his innocence since his arrest over two decades ago, Cantu has faced numerous hurdles in his quest for justice.
