Jacksonville Beach, Florida – Rapper Yungeen Ace, also known as Keyanta Bullard, remains in custody after a recent arrest on a gun possession charge in Duval County jail. The 26-year-old entertainer was apprehended around midnight in Jacksonville Beach, as per city jail records.
Departure from Jacksonville
Bullard, who has been residing in the Houston, Texas area, disclosed in interviews that he left Jacksonville due to recurrent encounters with law enforcement. He cited difficulties in organizing shows in the city, stating, The police won’t let me.
Gang Affiliations
Jacksonville police identify Yungeen Ace as the leader of a group termed ATK (Ace To Kill), engaged in an ongoing rivalry with KTA (Kill Them All), led by local rapper Charles Jones, known as Foolio.
Violent Conflict
The conflict between ATK and KTA has resulted in significant bloodshed, manifesting in a series of fatal incidents. Notably, Bullard was targeted in a shooting incident in June 2018, resulting in the loss of three lives, including his brother, Tre’von Bullard.
Social Media Glorification
Following these tragic events, Foolio, a prominent figure in the KTA faction, made several social media posts seemingly glorifying the violence. The escalation continued with subsequent shootings, including the deaths of notable individuals associated with KTA.
Legal Ramifications
In March 2021, Jacksonville law enforcement arrested Ksoo (Hakeem Robinson), a key figure in the KTA group, on charges related to multiple homicides. The arrest followed months of online boasting and taunting by Ksoo regarding the killings.
Escalating Tensions
The animosity between the rival factions further intensified with the release of provocative music videos, notably Who I Smoke by Yungeen Ace and associates, and the response track When I See You by Foolio. These videos, laden with symbolism and references to real-life violence, fueled tensions within the community.
Continued Conflict
Despite efforts by law enforcement and community leaders to mitigate the violence, the feud between ATK and KTA persists, perpetuating a cycle of retaliatory actions and tragic loss of life.
