Additionally, Miya’s grandmother, Billie (Rudd) Smith, 49, was arrested during the search for Miya due to a 2023 domestic violence warrant for second-degree assault.

Following their arrests, Tucker and Ricky Smith were detained at the Ohio County Detention Center, while Rudd and Billie Smith were held at the Daviess County Detention Center. Miya was last known to be in the care of her parents before she went missing.
