Jairo Romero was reported missing on Tuesday night while fishing at Mendota Delta Canal. His body was recovered the following Wednesday morning, leaving his family devastated.

Michael Romero, Jairo’s brother, expressed the family’s grief, emphasizing how much they cherished him. He highlighted Jairo’s significance in their lives and the profound impact his absence has left.
Seizure Complications
Jairo had a history of seizures over the past two years, which Michael believes may have contributed to his drowning. Despite being familiar with waterways and being a proficient swimmer, Jairo’s seizures posed a constant concern for his safety.
