SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has announced that missing 13-year-old Jaylen Yates has been found safe. The authorities had launched an urgent search for Jaylen, appealing to the public for assistance in locating him.

Jaylen Yates was last seen on April 30, 2024, in the 7800 block of Walzem Rd. Described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, Jaylen was wearing a black T-shirt, grey jeans, and purple/black Jordan shoes at the time of his disappearance. He left his residence on April 30 and was last seen by his mother. His mother’s last contact with Jaylen was on May 1, 2024, when he stated that he would return home at 11:00 AM but did not.
Authorities initiated search efforts, focusing on locating Jaylen in the Sunrise neighborhood of Kirby, where they believed he may be.
