A chain-reaction crash rocked Milwaukee’s north side, resulting in injuries to five individuals, one of whom sustained life-threatening wounds, on Thursday, June 6.

The chaotic sequence of events unfolded around 4:20 p.m. when a driver instigated multiple collisions. Initially, the driver struck a vehicle near 25th and Villard before continuing on without halting. Shortly after, at the intersection of Teutonia and Villard, the same driver collided with another vehicle, setting off a chain-reaction crash involving a total of five vehicles.
Severity of Injuries
Among the victims, a 75-year-old individual required extrication from their vehicle and was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. Meanwhile, three occupants of a different vehicle, aged 56, 56, and 1, sustained injuries deemed non-fatal.
Arrest and Charges
The 54-year-old driver responsible for initiating the crash also suffered non-fatal injuries and was subsequently apprehended after receiving medical treatment. Authorities have announced plans to forward criminal charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in connection with the incident.
