Tomeka Nicole Henry, the proprietor of Touch By An Angel Learning Academy in Lake City, Florida, has been apprehended by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office for purportedly embezzling $1.3 million in state funds.

Following a tip in December 2023, law enforcement agencies conducted an extensive investigation leading to Henry’s arrest. Search warrants were executed at the school premises and her residence on NW Canton Lane in Lake City.
