Durham, NC – The parents of an infant at the center of an Amber Alert issued last week have been arrested and made their first court appearance in Durham on Tuesday.

Destinee Ariel Cothran and Justin Lee Brown were apprehended at SureStay Plus Hotel on Hillsborough Road in Durham. They made their initial court appearances on Tuesday.

Charges and Bond

Cothran faces several charges in Orange County, as well as misdemeanor trespassing and resisting arrest charges in Durham County. She was given a $2,000 bond for the Durham County charges.
