This weekend, the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area will be abuzz with one of the most significant extravaganzas in western sports as the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) World Finals kick off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Two years ago, the PBR, the premier competition in the rodeo world, selected DFW as its new home, relocating from Las Vegas.

Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo and Championship Showdown

The action-packed weekend commences with Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo on Friday at 7:45 p.m. This unique event transforms rodeo into a team format, featuring six teams competing in a drag racing-style format. Dozens of World Champions will vie for their share of the $1 million purse, with entertainment icon Kid Rock performing live in concert.

The pinnacle of the event unfolds on May 18 and May 19 with the Championship showdown. Nightly, each of the 25 riders will face off against two bulls.

Ultimate Tailgate Party and Special Guests

A championship ticket purchase also grants access to Cole Hauser’s Ultimate Tailgate Party, happening at AT&T Stadium’s East Plaza on May 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This exclusive event features the presence of Yellowstone star Cole Hauser for an unforgettable celebration.

North Texans Shine at PBR

As the competition heats up, local support will be rallying behind John Crimber, an 18-year-old bull riding prodigy hailing from Decatur. With an outstanding season under his belt, Crimber aims to etch his name in history by clinching his first Unleash The Beast event win and potentially becoming the youngest World Champion in PBR history.

Crownings and Celebrations

Once the dust settles on Championship Sunday, the PBR will not only crown the 2024 PBR World Champion, who will earn the coveted gold buckle and a $1 million bonus, but also recognize the 2024 World Finals event winner, the 2024 World Champion Bull, the 2024 Rookie of the Year, and more.
