The focus of the operation was a property located at 817 S. Martin Luther King Blvd, where authorities have been investigating various offenses, including violent crimes and drug trafficking.

Arrests and Charges

The Elgin Police Department (EPD) arrested four individuals during the raid, all facing multiple drug-related charges:

• Angela Alvarado: Charged with delivery of a controlled substance for 4 grams to 200 grams of methamphetamine, classified as a Felony 1 offense.
• Anthony Joiner: Charged with delivery of a controlled substance for 4 grams to 200 grams of crack cocaine, classified as a Felony 2 offense.

Additionally, law enforcement seized several firearms, narcotics, cash, and electronic devices from the property. EPD highlighted ongoing surveillance efforts and previous arrests made at this location over the past year.
